Mr. Cassidy until recently played the role of Seabee West in "South Pacific" which he left for his current vehicle. Before that he was importantly cast in "Small Wonder," "Inside U.S.A.," "Something for the Boys," and "Sadie Thompson." While appearing in the night club version of "Billion Dollar Baby," his rich baritone voice attracted the attention of Mary Martin who insisted that he be teamed with her for the recording of the musical comedy album "Babes in Arms." He is also featured in the recording of "On Your Toes."
